When flying with SkyDemon for iPad (in GoFlying mode obviously) I find it's too easy to upset the screen, or even alter the route, by simply touching the screen.
As I don't have a bracket but simply keep the iPad on my lap (properly protected), even just moving the iPad about on my knee may introduce a new waypoint or so something else. Also, passengers pointing to something on the screen, particularly in turbulence, are causing route updates.
Would it be possible to add some sort of screen locking feature that prevents this?
As a suggestion: Use an Apple-style slider "slide to edit". With the slider locked, the only thing that happens when somebody touches the screen is to bring up the airspace/waypoint/navaid/leg information window (disappearing in a few seconds if possible). And when someone slides or pinches over the screen, the map slides or zooms as appropriate, but will revert to the normal aircraft view (north up or track up as appropriate) after a few seconds. With the slider unlocked, the current behavior is used, allowing you to change the route, add waypoints and such.
